I am pretty confident that the 3/4 ton and larger trucks within a given year share the spear. I am less confident but still think 40 will be the same as 41.
I'm sure the hoods would interchange but I'm not too sure the trim is the same. I have an ad for the spear on Fordbarn and a guy has one for a 41. I want to be sure.
