My new project ('87 van)
Howdy all,
I just picked up an '87 Clubwagon XLT for $500. It runs quiet, and drives just fine. It's got a 302 FI engine, some decent dings, a reasonable amount of rust, and two boys who are glad they'll soon have leg room.
My question is, it acts like it's real cold natured. It wants to die as soon as it's put in gear. Once in gear, it runs fine and will idle at stop signs ect. This being my first Ford V8 I'm not sure where to start. I'm sure this ain't normal. Any pointers you folks could give me will sure be appriciated.
