Well after reading on this forum looks like this issue is not a new one. Recently bought a used 2013 F250 power stroke with 52K miles and after putting 5k miles it the radiator is leaking. Dealer willing to take off 25% of the $1500 price tag. My question is should I just put an all aluminum one on? I found "Mishimoto MMRAD-F2D-11 Silver Aluminum Primary Radiator for Ford 6.7L Powerstroke " on sale on Amazon with free shipping for $732 and have a local diesel mechanic that will put on for $325. Thoughts?
frame flexing has been cited as a cuase of some of the radiator failures. take a look at the top of your radiator and see if you see a bow pattern across the top.
I installed a front trailer hitch on my truck in the hopes the added re-enforcement would help reduce the frame flexing. my hitch is a reese product and is basically a horizontal bar that bolts to both chasis beams.

$75 bucks is a nice dinner man...I'd keep the money plus the all aluminum mishi...no plastic to crack and break...
