It wasn't easy, but I finally found the keyless entry code for my 2005 F250! When I first got it, I had THREE dealers tell me it would take an hour - and $85 to $100 - to "find" it with the computer. They all told me that "Ford stopped putting the codes on the vehicles in 2001 because it was too easy to find".
RIGHT
After standing on my head, pulling back insulation that DID NOT want to move, and digging around wires, I finally was able to see it plainly written (in nice big numbers) on the box where it should be.
I found out where to look from this board. Thanks!
Now....if someone can come set the clock on the Pioneer stereo in the thing......

On mine you set the clock with the unit powered off. Turn the truck key "on" and push whichever button changes audio & display settings. Then poke around in the display settings until you find the clock.
Or you could download the user guide from Pioneer.
Where under the dash did you find the code? I have a 2004 that I got and the previous forgot the code.
My son bought a used 2011, did not have the code for the door We stopped by ford dealer spode with a service manger. He came out made us show the bill of sale and registration. And he turned the key on opened the door and would not let us watch he keyed in a code and then my son keyed in his code. He did not charge us anything.
Does anyone know if the 2004 can be re coded the same way.
I live in sw Texas and the closet dealer is 50 miles away. I would like to change code, but if I must I will wait and go by the dealer first time I'm down there.
2004 is on the radio. Big numbers. You will need a mirror, flashlight and a contortionist to get it. Or you can pull it out with the 'special tool'. I used 2 coat hangers or stiff wires to push into the holes to release the radio.

Do you have a single din style with a dial on the left? My wife's car had a Pioneer radio. It was really nice head. However to set the time you had to turn the radio off. Then you press and held the dial down for 3 seconds. Then you had access to the clock. I do know there is a guide on Pioneer's web site. Just type in the model number and go from there.

It sounds like your service manager helped you set your personal code, which is different from the factory set code. If you look up under the dash near where the radio is, you will see a black box with a label with five large digits on it. That is your factory door code.
