Voltage at idle
Now that I've got the Torque Pro reading well, I've been monitoring my voltage. It seems a little low to me, but I wanted to get your opinion since you guys are familiar with the OBS diesels specifically.
At a hot idle (EOT over 180, around 650 rpm, in Park) I get 14.0 - 14.2 with the radio and vent on, and around 12.9 - 13.5 with the headlights on. Once I'm up to 1000 RPM it's pretty steady at 14.1-14.2
On cold start you can see the needle jump up from high 12s to high 13s when the glow plugs kick off, but I suspect that's normal.
Normal ranges or weak alternator?
