Charging volts

What are you guys 6.0's seeing for an idle charge and higher revs?

I'm seeing 12.6-12.7 at idle and 13.6-13.7 at higher rpms.

My V-10 did 13.6 idle and 14.4 at rpm

Is this a normal charge for a diesel?

I guess it's time to look for a better one. 12.6 isn't going to cut it with the stereo. Does anyone know if they are internally regulated?

time for a better what - alternator or batteries? Isn't it about amps not volts?

Well the amp output is pretty weak for what I'm looking for but then throw in that I can't get a full charge for the sound system makes it that much worse.
