A false floor or some other method of lifting modern seat about three inches seems to be the norm. Those are good looking seats and if the driver seat is 6 way power, it will come in very handy. They look two tone grey. If that is the case, I'd leave them along and complete the rest of the interior to match. Grey carpet, probably the darker color. A local auto upholstery shop should be able to get you some door panels of similar color and material. Take the removable panels out of the dash and paint them the same darker grey and you're in business.
I'm trying to fit seats right now and tight is right. I'm only 5' 10" and foot room seems really tight when using my imaginary pedals...
Your seats look good but seems you're having same issue as me. I don't want to go too high with the seats in mine so I'm thinking it is what it is? Unless I modify the foot area of the floor to make it more comfortable.
I am running 2002 VW Passat seats that do not come with seat tracks...they have wheels that roll in a channel in the floor. I replicated the channels using rectangular tubing and spaced the channels at the proper height with appropriate sized rectangular steel as shown in the pic below:
I agree with pbsdaddy,i think that the look great and i would do the interior to match--i like that 40 ford coupe next to it also what are you doing to that ? i had a 40 ford coupe with a 400 hp corvette in it things got real tight at one time and a guy made me a real good offer that i could not pass up so i sold it--big mistake
I really like both the seats and the color with the red truck. My concern is that the seat backs look thick which will be a problem with leg room in our trucks. The stock seats and what I used (Ranger seats) are thinner in the back.

I found the false floor to add enough room for the seat to sit back a reasonable distance and the seat back is able to lean rearward, without interference, because the fuel tank slopes rearward itself. Combined, they offer quite a bit of room, comparatively speaking.
