1989 F-250 won't start
The other day the ignition switch on my '89 F-250, that is mounted on the steering column broke. The plastic separated from the metal base. When the face of the plastic half moved it shorted on the steering column. Thus blowing my fusible link. Today I replaced two burnt fusible links which was easy enough.
Now the engine cranks, but will not start/run.
So far I've checked all the fuses and fusible links, which are good. I know there is something else blown that I'm missing, but can't figure out what that might be. Could something like the fuel pump solenoid get fried form a short in the ignition switch circuit?
