e4od pump in 4r100 possible?
hello, have a 1999 superduty van powerstroke with a bad fluid pump cover and also have a e4od pump. is it possible to use the e4od pump in the 4r100? i know i would need to press out and swap the stator shafts, and that the e4od is non pwm but i have a kit that eliminates the pwm in the 4r100 already, including older style solinoid pack. i have read that the 4r100 is a larger fluid capacity? what would be the down side to doing this conversion? thank you
