Ford Cuckoo Clock

I thought this might interest somebody here. Comes out of Canada so would be a lot cheaper to buy with US dollars. , Doug.

It's a little cheaper in US dollars, but I'm not sure if it's enough. My wife thought it was cute.

Does that red truck come out on the hour and blow its horn? Or does it say Cuckoo?

Neither one. It revs its engine.

Maybe I'm biased but anything from those "exchanges" and "mints" kinda raise a red flag with me. My grandmother used to collect those blue plates with the year on them and horses and snow covered churches and stuff - "Christmas 1967", mom collected Hummel figurines, or maybe those were the plates too. Nobody wants them now, they were expensive too. Can't even eat off of them. Whatever floats your boat I guess.

Who needs a frigging clock these days? Any direction ya look, there's something with a clock on it, or it will beep at you on demand.

Come on everybody needs an old clock or two!
Here are my four. They happen to be in reverse chronological order: 1929, 1909, 1833-36, not sure but anytime before 1800.

The way our money is devaluing just wait a while, you might be able to get it for five bucks in American money, we don't even have one cent coins any more.

I checked to see the exchange rate today - I can buy a Canuck dollar with $.69, this has been (about) the prevailing rate for a long time, many years? I thought it reached parity a couple years back though.
