I'm running a 74 302 in my 64 F100. My temp gauge does not work, so I want to do some trouble shooting. I assume it is a DC voltage output from the temperature sensor, correct? Any idea what the range should be? For instance, is it zero volts when cold, and then moves up as the engine gets hotter?
Sorry if this is a stupid question.
Steve
Edited: I googled it. It's a resistance measurement (which makes more sense). I guess I can get the range from the inter-webs too somewhere!
