Took delivery of a 2003 Mach 1 Back on July 25th. This thing hauls boo-koo butt. 4.6 liter DOHC with 305 hp, Torch Red, 5 speed manual trans. Took it to California last week and got about 26 mpg and did over 130 mph on a deserted stretch of desert highway. It wasn't even working hard. I am still breaking this baby in, got about 2k miles on it now. My SD must be getting lonely. Drive the Mach 1 if you get a chance, buy one if you can!
I went for a ride in my uncle's Grabber Blue Mach 1 on my wedding night. I was quite impressed with the car, even with 4 of stuffed in it, it still hauled butt.
I hope you didn't have four people in it on your wedding night! That might get in the way of things. I can't (refuse) to put anybody in the back seat. It is to small in the back for anthing but young kids. I will shoot on sight any of my young kids that I catch trying to get in the car period! It is for me and the wife to have fun in, or me to have fun in! It hauls butt...Ken.
Is everyone seeing a link to a picture of his Mach 1? I dont see the link if they are.... unless they are just saying cool ride,,nice car..ect... cause a new Mach 1 Is a cool ride and nice car!!! hehe..
Cool car ! I was looking at one while at the dealer a few days ago, and if I didn't buy this truck, that Mustang M 1 was next on my list
Good luck, and congrats. on the Stang'
Paid sticker price, about $29,700 or so. It was in the dealer showroom in Reno for a few days before I bought it. I don't have any pics yet, I will see if I can find some time and take a few to post. Going to go to Hot August Nights in Reno tonight and check out some other cool vehicles.
