I removed my power running boards this weekend and I am looking for a new solution. At this time I would need to replace both drive assemblies and rear idler brackets. Total almost $2k even though I have the new step plates. To me it is not worth it. Does anyone know of any aftermarket running boards or Nerf Bars that can be bolted to a 2004 Lincoln Navigator 4 x4? They do not have to be power, just looking to replace existing boards of some type. Thanks

A set of angle brackets and a couple of 2x6s should do the trick.

There are a lot of nice looking wooden running boards and other trimmings out there on trucks if you really want to put a little extra effort into them.

What Im going to do is take running boards off a Navigator that doesnt have the power option. I didnt realize that only the ULTIMATE package has the power running boards. You can get base models that dont have power. Just my $0.02
