give it a good wack on the right side. Make sure the dimmer for the headlights is turned all the way up.
Mines doing the same thing, the solder joints my be failing. Send it off to be fixed, Circuit Board Medics are a sponsor here and several other places fix as well.

Hey Ken. I had mine go bonkers a couple of years ago. I found a ebay seller that repaired them. Since I had been in mine a couple of times I ended up having to buy a new one. It was maybe about half of the dealer price.
