There is a guy that sells them on ebay, olbird is his name. They just tell you temp and direction though, which is all you really need anyhow since the mileage calculation is not very accurate on these things. He gives you directions and a template to cut the headliner. I installed one on my 2000 that I traded in for the truck I have now and it turned out great. Looked exactly like it came from the factory with it.

Yes, his will come with a wiring pigtail that plugs into the console. You will have to run your own wires though. The one I installed only took 4 wires, a positive, ground, and two wires from the temp sensor.

I don't really know about that. It should come with the pigtail, and then you will have to run your own wires for everything. I didn't get that one, so I don't know how it's wired up. Mine only had temp and compass.
