The dryer sheets as rodent repellent is just BS. Just makes for fresh smelling nests. LOL
they actually do work just not as long term as the spray we used. I used them around the house on the orchard and the laundry room. the spray is too stinky to have around people
we had a bunch of equipment that just sat until it was needed for emergencies. big water pump trailers several giant generators, light trailers, message boards and so on.
the rodents loved this stuff. we would move them from their stored location to the shop and the rats would jump out as you were hooking up or already moving.
keep an eye out for snakes in the warmer months too. we had a cat or two get caught up in engines also. not pretty
They work so long, or while a human is out throwing them around, maybe. Trust me, they are BS. They aren't any good in the dryer either for that matter.
Rodents are allergic to peppermint oil. You can buy a small bottle at a health food store. Dab a bit about the engine bay every week or so and they will move out.
