BODY SHOP PROBLEMS

So I dropped 5200$ on my 250. New bed new front and rear bumpers and whole new paint job. It was delivered back to me with rust specks all over. So shop man said he would buff it all out. But bed has a pound of rust in it. Should I be getting a spray in bed liner for free. ? Thoughts and comments much appreciated.

A properly installed bedliner coating requires the surface to be aggressively scuffed up anyway. Where did the rust specks originate from? Were they grinding other metal in the shop when yours was drying and particles settled on your finish?? Or, is the rust from your truck ? Either way, that's totally screwed up on their part. It's either very crappy surface prep or a seriously unprofessional paint/drying process.

Hard to really say anything with out seeing it.
I've seen steel wool that was being used in the shop make little rust marks on paint. It looks like little squiggly lines of rust.

If they were working on something close by , it could cause what your describing ,they should have moved your truck or covered it before grinding near it. They should take care of your truck ,the hot metal (if they were grinding near it) can melt into the clear coat. Then when moisture gets on your vehicle it turns into rust specks all over.
