I had a new windshield and trim installed and to me I think it should be replaced. Worried about leaks. I brought it back and guy says its fine but I would like some opinions here
The best way to test it is to have someone take a garden hose and (with you inside) spray the areas all around the glass, and also just let the water run over the glass (without spraying).
Have a flashlight and some paper towels handy.
Everything looks "fine", just used a cheap universal seal. Unless you payed some crazy low price to have that done take it back and have them re-do it and while there at it they need to clean that grime off too! There is nothing "wrong" with it, but unless like I said you had some cheap shop that doesn't care install it for peanuts take that **** back. There is no way in hell I would accept that personally and I pinch pennies.
