Yet, mite bit breezy w/ out the windshield. Best get the glass installed before you leave and before winter sets in, ideal opportunity to detect if there are any leaks. Curious, did you do it yourself?
I had a extra set of hands help me. It would of been a lot easier if it didnt have the chrome on the front glass.

Had the 65 with the 302 windshield with the chrome trim installed several years ago and had it done by an auto glass shop, very please with result, they did an outstanding job. The windshield was new and I provided the gasket. I just got a quote for having the other 65 done and they do not want to install the original glass and gave me a cost of around $600. Since not sure I intend keeping the 65 CC truck considering a 'do it myselfer' using the original glass and purchasing DC gasket. Thank you for the info, yours certainly came out looking mitty fine so there's hope as a 'do it myselfer' .
I would just buy a new gasket and give it a try with the old glass. Worst case you break it and then have to buy a new glass. I havent looked but, lm sure there has to be some videos on youtube that will show you a lot better then l can explain it to you.

Agree, the gasket runs around $40 so the worse case scenario is that I break the glass.
