First Timer

Hello, all. New to the site, been a reader for a good while. Just figured I'd pop in and say hello, myself and my 503,000 mile Daisy, a '96 F-150 Eddie Bauer long bed. Look forward to being here! I would have posted it in a new member forum.. but I didn't see one, sorry if I missed it.

Wow. I know a guy like you and am amazed at his vehicles. I don't mean that disrespectfully believe me, quite the opposite. A 20 y/o truck, with that many miles, that looks that good, takes a dedicated owner. I'll bet there's a california duster, a spray bottle of water, and a rag in it somewhere!

Heh, well I do keep some Armorall handy and a mechanics blanket, some polishing rags as well. The rear box has atleast a quart of every fluid it takes, just to be safe. Fenders are just starting to bubble a little, so I'm not quite as meticulous as I once was. Come spring it's getting a new bed and two tone paintwork, and maybe some new rims.. I never much cared for the ones on it. Just did a bunch of work this weekend underneath a lift and found it is actually an AOD.. but it still has the e4OD overdrive cutout on the shifter? I don't know what that's all about, and it works fine.. who knows? Weird. Surprisingly rust free save for the bed and fenders. I believe it's some kind of Chrysler color currently.. never quite figured it out.
