LED fog light question

I'm looking at installing Rigid LED fog lights on the 2015 I just bought. Do they plug into the factory harness so that you can control them with the fog lights switch or do they wire separately with their own switch?

They do not plug into the factory harness, but when I had them installed they just tapped into the factory wiring of the fog lights so that they could be used with the factory switch. I have the SAE D'2 and they are great.

A harness that is plug and play can be had from a company called KD Fabworks...or you could make your own up if you can find the appropriate plugs.

Shadetreezj,
With this install, it appears that these lights that replace the stock fogs only come on with lights in DIM and the **** pulled out for Fog. Is that correct? If so, seems these might blind other drivers. I would like them to only come on with High beams. Did you rig yours this way?

Stock set up. Angled down slightly.

I'm still free from bullet holes.

Around town, I don't run them.

Yes they plug directly into the factory wiring so headlights on dim and **** pulled out is the only way to turn them on.

That is unless you wired them into a relay that is triggered by your high beams. It would be the direct opposite of the OEM configuration, headlights on high and fogs come on, headlights on dim fogs go off.

I kept my stock ones and installed the rigid ones on either side of liscence plate and connected them to upfitter switch.I turn them on only when theres no opposing traffic even though I have them angled down and inward they are still blinding and have gotten plenty of people ticked off when ive forgotten to hit switch off.I also installed the rigid floods on my rear bumper. They work great. The stock reverse lights dont throw enough light for me to see through my tinted windows when backing.

Do you have a picture of this?
I would consider the same.
Also, what did you mount the lights to? Directly attached to the bumper?

This may be the solution to my desire for extra lighting on unlit highways at 3 AM.
