I drove one

Today I had my oil changed at the dealer and while I was waiting, I had the sales person bring around a 2016 Mustang GT 5.0L...........ahem, very impressed!!!

Then I drove a 2016 KR 4x4 3.5EB. All the goodies inside this gorgeous creature made me forget that I'm still not completely sold on the front grill and the tailgate styling. I loved this truck but, if I brought home a truck that cost $63,567 my bride would shoot me between the eyes.

Later on when we get ready to replace the Expy, I may try to convince my bride to drive a 4x2 F-150 Screw and see if she likes it. If not, I'll continue to work on a Transit Connect Wagon for her.

Anyway, I scratched the itch, it's impressive but now ain't the time.

More self control than most of us.

But then again this is great thinking ahead and a great deterrent.

The new aluminum Expedition should be out by then. I'm sure it will be every bit as impressive as the new F150. The aluminum body should go far in improving the handling and taking away from the top heavy feeling that full size SUVs have.

Definitely not going Expy again. I love ours and it's been very good but they are waaaaay over priced even for an entry level model. Ford has neglected that segment far too long for me to be interested.

Just curious how was the ride of the new GT compared to the older models with a solid rear axle? I know the new design got independent rear suspension which took until 2015 to do it.

The car feels wider than previous models and the ride was very solid yet forgiving and typical of a sport 2+2. I understand why these beauties are all over the place.
