Jag soft mount

Looking for some pics on the jaguar ifs rear subframe mount
And a few more questions like you guys mounted the rear of crossmember flush to frame and what degree is the front of crossmember?
How was the brake lines hooked up was an adapter used to marry the jag to ford lines.
Thanks Robert

Hi Robert. Hope this gives you some idea of what we did. We just fabbed up some plate just below the engine mount setup on my '54 (it has a Chev engine hence the GM mounts)

You did not indicate what year you are fitting the Jag to, if it is a 48-52 it is going to be different, make that easier, to mount than the pictures that peter posted since the 48-52 frame rails are pinched in 2" forward of the cab on width compared to the later, 53-56 frame rails, or 32" vs 34". What are you doing?

I am collecting my information the jaguar ifs is going into a 52 Chevy 1/2 ton truck and not a whole lot of soft mount info on the Chevy boards I've been finding a lot here.
I know my frame rails are a lot more narrow so a few more modifications nothing to dramatic I'm sure.
And appreciate all the help
Robert

Wow that frame looks narrow...are all Jag IFS this wide? I seem to recall that the fit is much tighter on a Ford F-series

Charlie, 32" on an F-1 and 34" on an F100. Track width on a Jag is essentially identical to the early F series.

I guess that I was thinking that the photo was that of a 53 Chevy 1/2 ton...the shots that I have seen posted here of others F1/F100s all seemed to have less of a gap between the frame rail and the upper a-arm stands. Old age must be kicking in...
