V10 POWAAAA!
I didn't feel like renting a stump grinder and towing it home.
Not enough traction to straight pull it out. Passengers front and driver rear wheels did a burnout in the driveway. I was almost about to chain the Ex and the Dodge together and elist the wife's help... Decide to give her a yank with a foot or two of slack on the chains and that did it.
Tore up my chain and bar plunge cutting into the ground d around the tree though.

As a rule of thumb... it is not a good idea to stress your ring and pinion as well as transmission pulling things or yanking things in reverse.
The good news is that you accomplished your mission! :-)

Lower gearing = more torque was my thought...
Tires (with open differentials) were always the limiting factor though.
Plus, being in reverse, I could see what I was doing.
