H13 led light bulb replacement install?

Had my led's installed today and I think the bulbs are positioned wrong. The light stick has a led bulb on each side and one was install facing in and one facing out (left to right instead of up and down. iOS the correct way one facing up and one down, down being the low beam. Thanks for the help.

When I had mine in, I had to take the heat gun to them, break the glue seal, and rotate them to find the best way to have them pointed. In the end, I wasn't really happy with any of the orientations, so I removed them.
I see that Lifetime LED Gen 2 bulbs are now available and they let you rotate the lights without breaking any glue seal. This should help people out who want to try them out.

I had heard that you want them at 3 & 9 o'clock. I was able to "adjust" the base just enough to get that position and they are real nice an bright but don't notice much difference between hi/lo on these LED's. Going to experiment further but maybe I won't get much difference between hi/lo.

I am getting people flashing me. I think if they were at 6 o'clock for low the beam wouldn't be high and have the high at 12 o'clock. I am calling Putco in the morning to get any clarification.

Let us know what Putco support says. Mine are from GoRecon but install position should be same. Not sure I could get mine in the 6&12 position but would like to hear what you are told. I was getting flashed initially, but set them down about 2" and still get loads of output and very few folks flashing now.

Talked to Putco and also a guy from RimzOne they both said that low beam should be facing up at 12 o'clock so that when it reflects off the headlight housing it will project lower and the high beam bulb should be down at 6 o'clock so when they get turned on they will reflect off the bottom housing and shine higher. Now just hoping that my particular LED's can be turned in the housing.

Thanks for posting what you found out. I will check that out with mine and see if it makes a difference.

Had my led's bulbs rotated so that the low beam faced 12 o'clock and high was at 6 o'clock. Forces a lot of light down in front of truck. Looks good with my Ridgid fogs but when I turn the fogs off I don't think I would be satisfied with just the headlights. I can't decide to just keep them or try the PIAA 4000K halogen lights and not sure if a whole new aftermarket headlight would be worth getting.
