I just did mine three weeks ago. I went with top of the line AC Delco 850CCA two of them. The last set lasted 6 years 2 months. Can't beat that. Bruce

I have had good luck from the Wal Mart Maxx batteries. One set in the old 1996 F350 with 7.3 lasted 7 years. Other set was a year old when I sold the truck. The original Motorcraft last abut 7 years also.

I currently have a Motorcraft 850cca with 36month warranty which just ran out. If I have to change again it will probably be a Interstate from Costco since the cost is a bit less.

Which Engine do you have? If diesel you should be replacing them in pairs.

I have had poor luck with interstate. I ran a few truck and atv batteries of theirs and they were always going dead. When I would try to get warranty they would tell me nothing was wrong with them. Different batteries solved the problem which showed it wasn't a problem with the vehicles. I just had to buy a new battery today for my 2012 F250. I went with a factory replacement as the price was cheaper than most.

I second the Walmart Maxx. Used their deep cycles in my bass boat and the Maxx in my previous F150

I also have had bad luck with Interstate. I agree with the Walmart maxx batteries. They are good for the price, and don't feel as bad if I have to replace a little sooner than a more expensive battery.

Maxx is probably next for me. Realized the interstate is 7.5 years old in service. Had issues (no start) and when I took it back to the dealer to check it out, they said it was shot. After reading on BITOG about batteries, charging etc, I sent my Craftsman charger packing and got a new one (Pro-Logix PL2320) and she hasn't had an issue since....

I agree with the Walmart maxx batteries as well. Fore the price. I have a set in my 2003 7.3 that are 4 years old and are still gong strong. I just put a set of O'Reilly auto parts batteries in my 2001 7.3 last month. will see how they do over time. But I get a good discount true my shop so I figured I would give them a shot. And yes always get the highest cca available.

I have had good luck out of the wal mart maxx and motorcraft as well. I can't say I've had bad luck out of any brand though.
