I own the 6.0 in an E350 van. My fuel pressure regulator was leaking around the edges and it took me a few months to finally see it leaking.
Do I have to replace this O-ring that connects the fuel line to the secondary filter? I don't have a vice and am hoping to put this back together tomorrow so I have a van to drive.
This is a kit for the Ford truck. I have 2 O rings in my van fuel pressure kit from FICM repair. I don't have the small plastic piece in my kit. I can replace the small O ring.
It took about an hour to get everything off and organized for the Blue Spring upgrade.
This is the kit for the van. The bowl sits 180 degrees in the opposite direction.
Is that one of the o-rings that goes under the fuel line nut?
I am talking the fuel line itself, not the one between the fitting and the housing.
I've been told to replace all the o-rings when doing the blue spring.
I completed the Blue Spring upgrade today. I had a Black & Decker portable work bench with a built in vice to secure the fuel pressure regulator module. Installed all the rings and drove the van. Worked great!
BTW, I have a brand new Blue Spring upgrade kit that I am willing to sell. I bought it from FICMrepair.com and turns out the E350 van takes a different kit.
I will sell it for the same price I paid for it plus free shipping. PM me for details.
If I don't sell it, it's going back to FICMrepair.
