Blue Spring Upgrade for E350 van
I ordered the Blue Spring upgrade today from FICMrepair for the E350 van. It's a different part number than what is used on trucks.

I found this out the hard way after I ordered the wrong part number. Fortunately I did not have everything ripped apart.
Local Ford stealtership offers it for about $90-not bad from Ford. I felt too lazy to drive 8 miles round trip. I think I paid a little over $70 with shipping from Ed.
I smelled diesel fuel for 3 months and could not figure out where the leak was. Our family went to a Bethlehem Christmas event and I smelled diesel when I walk around the van. It was dark. I got out my flashlight and looked near the upper fuel filter and noticed it was wet. BINGO!
I have been putting off the blue spring upgrade as there was not a need for it in the van according to the SMB forum and other Ford Techs. However, the benefits of the higher fuel pressure is a plus. Additionally, a leak in the fuel system is no bueno!
