The day before Christmas, I purchased a 2016 F-250 Lariat 4X4 6.7L PSD. After careful consideration, I just thought the F-250 with the 6.7L was better suited toward meeting my requirements for a truck. Plus, I was hooked after taking the truck for a test drive.
I appreciate the insight and experiences shared by members on this forum. However, the majority of threads are related to negative experiences with the 6.7L PSD. Does anyone have any positive experiences with the 6.7L PSD to share? Hopefully, over time, I will have my own to share.
Almost a year and 24,000 trouble free miles. Hauling, towing, and highway miles mostly. Folks tend to post when something is wrong rather than when all is right. This forum is far from an accurate representation of the typical ownership experience.
I have never owned a more rock-solid stable towing truck in my life. More than enough power to drag my 18+k fiver down the road and up the mountain...
I have some peeves, but no problems..
I have had some issues here and there but nothing a reflash of the ECM by the dealer did not cure.
I will say this, I am a Chevy/GMC truck guy and grew up in Texas on ranch in the days that Chevy ruled in truck sales. So when I retired and went to look at trucks for my place a lot of years had gone under the bridge. I shopped them all and bought Ford and have done so 3 times.
I climb up in the cab of my KR and I can't do better in my own living room. Travel is easy sitting in that cab and with the power of the engine I can drive any lane on the hiway I want. Far as I am concerned Chevy/Dodge have a long way to go before I will front seat there.
Had my '12 for 50k miles now. Never been back to the dealer, has awesome power, gets great fuel mileage for weighing 8300lbs and rolling 35" MTs, has been reliable and I could go on and on.
Best vehicle I have owned in my short life owning vehicles.

I too am a new owner and found this site after my purchase and it initially scared me to death by what I was reading. I soon realized, as someone else has already mentioned, that these sites seem to attract more of the negative vs the positive experiences. With that in mind, I have been able to take more of what I read with a grain of salt, so to speak and keep things more positive in my mind.
I've only had my truck, a '16 F-350SRW a month and 1600 miles, but really love it! Haven't had a chance to tow with it yet, but am looking forward to spring when the camper comes out of winter storage to get going with it. It has tremendous power, actually more than the first over the road tractor that I drove, a Cumins powered International cabover that couldn't get out of the way of anything, empty or loaded!
The only thing that I've been a little disappointed in is the highway mileage that I've been getting. Thought that I'd at least get as good as my old Duramax, but that hasn't happened yet. 17 seems to be as good as it is going to get so far.
Well, I had a 2002 7.3 Excursion Limited that spoiled me for 185,000 miles and 2 major accidents. I didn't think that there would be a vehicle that i would like better.
I test drove a 2012 F250 CCSB 4x4 and put the Excursion up for sale the next day..... Drove it for 50,000 miles and loved it, never looked back....
Then we bought a 2015 F350 CCLB 4x4 and it now has 23,000 miles on it, no complaints, it is our go to travel vehicle because it is so comfortable, safe and more economical than the Excursion.
Most of us are having too much fun driving ours to post much about them.
Drive it and enjoy it!
Congrats of a great truck.
Pictures?

The 6.7 appears to have lost some mpg's with the bigger turbo in 2015. My old 6.0 could get up to 21 mpg highway but the power diff. is night and day. I'll give up a couple mpg's for the way it hauls my 5er thru the Sierras.
9 months and 20,000 miles without any problem caused by the truck. I did hit an object in the road that took out my under frame filter and I learned from that to carry a spare.
This F350 pulls my 10K fiver up and down mountains all over the country.
I've had some minor issues but as a life long Toyota owner, I'm pleased with my 250. For me, it defines what a truck is supposed to be; plenty of power and room. And others are correct, most of the post about negative issues are not representative of the owners as a whole but...not only are there usually solutions to the complaints, Ford takes notice these posts. I've only had mine a few months and I really don't have any major complaints. My biggest complaint is that Ashley Judd keeps calling to ask if she can get a ride. I can live with that though.
