Came from a fully tuned 6L that I thought was a pulling beast! Till I hooked up my '14 F350 to trailer ! Hands down will out pull the old girl , and without all the smoke and noise , no issues at all besides trying to keep the black paint shining on back country roads . Enjoy!
Beautiful truck, congrats. Add me to the list of very happy owners. I've had my '15 for just 8 months and only 5100 miles, and 5100 smiles. I Of course don't have proof, but I'm pretty certain that the % of problems (and supposed warranty denials), holds true for every brand, so relax, and enjoy your choice! I do add Ford's PM22-A additive for the peace of mind the added lubricity gives me. Others use different additives, others don't add anything at all, but yeah, I love this truck!
I put 145,000 miles on my 2011 truck with about 80,000 miles of that towing something. I now have 21,000 on my 2015 truck. Both trucks have been great,
Pretty much everybody else has said what I am thinking so, here are the numbers. Hit one year on the 26th and right close to 21000 on the clock. I traded in a 14 Silverado that I only had about 9 months and no issues. I'm not regretting the trade one little bit.
Extremely pleased with the 2015 F-250 6.7 purchased last April, and just as pleased with my week-old 2016 F-350 KR FX4 DRW. No visits to dealership with either, did a 7000 mile summer journey in the 250.
We are running a 2015 F350 Platinum 4X4 CC SRW with the 6.7 and love the truck. Total of 17,000 miles now with no issues what so ever. Lots of torque, acceleration and get up and go!! We pull a 3400RL Montana 5th wheel plus other 5th wheels with tandem dual wheels and truck handles the loads very well.
I was hauling my 5th wheel to Cherokee, NC and my brakes on the 5er were not working properly. However, driving sensibly in "haul" mode with the exhaust brake on was a piece of cake! I drive down highway 19 from I-40 into Cherokee without any issues and no fear. If you know highway 19, you know it is steep and winding. I used to have a 2011 and wouldn't have wanted to be in the same situation with it. The exhaust brake on the 2015's and later make a world of difference. This is an awesome towing machine and I love it!
The 6.7 appears to have lost some mpg's with the bigger turbo in 2015. My old 6.0 could get up to 21 mpg highway but the power diff. is night and day. I'll give up a couple mpg's for the way it hauls my 5er thru the Sierras.
The best I ever got in my 6.0 was mid 16 mpg highway. Had my 2016 6.7 CCLB 4x4 for three days and I LOVE this truck. Hope to get better fuel economy with this one. Most are reporting 18s and that's better'n what I got in my 2005.
Hey gkreitzjr nice red on your truck. Ya I had issues with my truck....small ones. It was the whatcha-ma-call-it in the engine area. Or was it the thing-a-ma-jig under the truck? Who cares lol. I'm lucky to be around to drive my truck. Some, not as lucky as I. Don't want to sweat the small chit, not worth it, imho.

Maggie Valley, made that mistake once. The truck in my sig handled it flawlessly, barely touched the brakes once with the exhaust brake on. We take the by-pass around that now when we go to Cherokee.
Imagine ford-trucks.com as the local news... Nobody wants to write about how good his/her truck is. when something fails, that where to response is. I remember a thread on here when i purchased my truck, the guy was paranoid something was going to fail, HPFP, radiator, he wasnt sure. It drove him crazy, couldnt sleep at night...He traded that truck in for an f150 because of fear. So silly in my eyes. Dont let fear get you my friend... Ohhh BTW my 2013 has 68k miles a new radiator and new waterpump all covered under ESP.

My 2015 can get 16 empty but 18 would have to be over a cliff. Maybe if she gets more miles on her but I doubt it. Strange that hauling it only gets app' 1 mpg. less than the 6.0 but empty not close. As stated before I'll take the added power and exhaust brake.
