Good morning Oregon, welcome to Tuesday! Well, I've hit the very last day of my 40's. Man, thinking back, when I was in my early 20's, how far away 50 seemed!
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 46.9, overcast and supposed to have some rain anytime now. Yippee.
Sirens going crazy. Hwy 18 death alley has struck again, 3 veh's involved, life flight air evac launched, calling for 3 ambulances and the Hwy is closed. Guess our trip to town to check on the care home shall be delayed a bit...wait a minute, they can't have a 12-16 there, the State declared it a safety zone!

Howdy.........pretty routine day today........not a lot going on..............Wemt to move a tractor, and it wouldn't start....plugged fuel line I think. Started right up last November or so. Winter took it's toll, I guess.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just got home from town a little bit ago.
Got called into the care home my MIL is in just before 0900. She was having some type of "episode". After we got there she went after the Wardens throat and tried to club me with her walker. LEO's and Ambulance crew hauled her to the hospital. They will keep her there overnight. In the meantime, we have made arrangement to have her moved to a new and different care home.

This is just a guess, but IDIOTS suffering from DWHIUA on a two lane section rural highway which is a main corridor to the beach as well as two Indian casino's, which they are always in a hurry to get to?
It is labeled as one of the most dangerous highways in the state and there is really no good reason for it.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 41.8, overcast and wet.
Have to get ready to leave for the VA. After we are done there, we are going to Cabela's so the day won't be a total loss.

Jim, what the heck is DWHIUA??
Cop slang term we used around here when we could not come up with a better reason for a persons driving habits. Stands for Driving With Head Inserted Up A#s.

Thanks Chris. The Warden is still pretty shaken up. MIL has had "episodes" before, but never this severe, prolonged or violent and we have never had to call the Police or EMT's for it before. I blame a good bit of it on the Care Home she was in. They are currently being sanctioned by the State and they are now prohibited from taking in any new residents / patients until they can prove compliance to DHS.
