need help re; adjustable fuel pressure regulator
need help re; adjustable fuel pressure regulator
Hi guys, i'm back. Had to do a few things around the house and shop. (added 100 square feet to the shop brings it up to 900 square feet and did a little out door painting) unfortunatly I have not gone camping, the weather has been really dry and the southern part of the province (B.C) is shut down to all outdoor activities (that sucks) but with all the forest fires burning it makes me a little nervous being out there. Towin toys thanks for the heads up on that timing chain idea I guess i will lay that one to rest. Your intake snorkle modification are they similar to Rusvd?. I will look up the doug thorley headers and see if they list the 97 7.5...regards Domenico

Domenico, how did your Truck do going up "The Cut" just outside the snowshed, I have a 79 Bronco w/ an EFI 460, and when we moved from Vancouver to AB, I pulled a 16' tandem Trailer loaded to the nuts, and I pulled it at 50k in second, it's wasn't the best but I bet there was close to 5-6000 lbs of weight in the trailer, (I'm supprised the Bronc made it)
need help re; adjustable fuel pressure regulator
howdey I_alone and fellow readers, I see you know the killer
hill well, I use this engineering marvle (
duh lets build a highway straight up the side of a mountain) to guage my engine modifications (see preveious post). My last trip was by far the best performance (before adjustable fuel pressure regulator was installed) est. weight of camper and trailer gear ect.. 5000lbs 110 k up to the snow shed (4th gear 3400 rpm) had to shift down to 3rd (as it gets steeper) 85k 3900 rpm last 3 k to the top of the hill. my ultimate goal is to keep it in 4th gear the whole climb (I don't think I'm that far away
. Mabey the adjustable fuel pressure regulator and the intake snorkle mod (courtasy of rusvd) is the ticket
. Interested if any body else has done this climb and to what success/what mods to the 7.5 regards Domenico...
