What is this?

I was retrieving my door code via the instructions in the tech folder(great write-up) and came across this connector which is disconnected. It's right above the gas pedal. No issues but just wanted to reconnect before there is one or settle my curiosity.

Pics? It's probably the OBD2 connector if it's a fat black one.
