Yes many have feel that way, especially the ones that have gotten their trucks squared away the correct way and have logged well in the tens of thousands of regen valve thermal exhaust valve stiction free. That is a fact. Also a fact that I did not create the problem but did identify it and come up with the vetted solution. That is a fact. I am not the one denying the repair to one customer and not another. Please don't act like Im the bad guy or a guy who just dropped $55 k is being unreasonable and it's his fault. That is projecting your frustration or whatever it is unto others.
I don't have it in me to deal with this is Christmas.
Merry Christmas and hopes for a peaceful New Year

You clearly are Saint Nick coming down the chimney to help all of the world understand it's stiction issues. We are all better on this special day because of you and your selfless contributions to the forum.

Radium What dealer did you get yours from ? I bought my 15 F450 from Don's because I think they have better tech's than Nye, Niles, Steet or Orange.

LMAO,,, what more could you want for Xmas...

You know, when I opened this thread, figured yee ole Saint (+ possible msn's) would be in here. He seems to be sticktioning around these types of threads... Kind of like when a shark smells blood in the water,,, or in this case more like a 1 cell protozoa finds a scratch on a whale and trys to infect it....

OP, why not give Ford 1 try to get it fixed before declaring all is lost...? Might help you not getting all worked up and stressed out...? If downshifting doesn't stop it, might not be the same problem.

Merry Xmas to all

Well once again you're all missing the point of this post I have not yet heard from any other person that has the exact same problem and it has it been solved their situation however in my local area found two other owners one had the head replaced and still experience the problem so it doesn't solve it. if I understand your comment correctly I should background check a company that's been in business for 112 years to make sure they're not lying to me wonderful good business practice you fool I'd ask you to stay off my post if I had any way to do it good day

Hey, I'm no moderator and I rarely say anything inappropriate, but I just can't help it.

Radium, you've been given good advice, don't be angry because no one here can fix the truck or tell you how to fix it, or tell you you're the chosen one who will finally bring down the Ford Motor company.

I tried to tell you to search this forum, suggested an existing thread that might help you, and hoped as you read you would gain more info in other threads.

Everything else here with the same ole "I paid $$ for my truck and ford is selling defective, bla bla" has been hashed out in other threads. This one won't be the one to finally solve the worlds problems.

Exactly what I've been trying to say just post something if you have this experience I don't need your opinion on how to handle it I'm 56 years old. I hope some new guy reads this and doesn't make the same mistake until Ford comes clean sorry if you don't want to hear that.

Good morning gang....
Radium,
So far you are in a group of ONE that has experienced this rough running condition during the Regen cycle when "Downshifting makes it worse"... There are tens of thousands of us 6.7 owners that have not experienced any of these conditions.
You are looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack here if you think you're going to find someone else with the exact symptoms you have described.

I am not taking a shot at you here, but you may have better luck in finding the people you are looking for if your message is clear and concise. Proper grammar and punctuation techniques may make all the difference in the world as Moderator Tom tried to point out to you.

You sound ilke someone who has already thrown in the towel on having your dealer look into the issue and would rather just dump this truck for something else. Good luck in your RAM or GM truck - or whatever you choose. They all have their issues from niggling small idiosyncrasies to ones that are more substantial.

Hang in there Radium.

Sorry St. Nicholas day is December 6th for those who hail from Europe.
So giving a little support and explanation to what was happening and support makes me a shark huh. Still attacking the guy who came up with what was going on and how to rectify it, huh. Well it's a step up from attacking all out people saying the problem did not exist and my favorite was everybody reporting this was one person with a "schill" account.
Do not try to attack me period. It's against the rules and am not going to take it. I don't attack you, don't attack me. Stop projecting your frustration and anger up on me. I did not create the problem, make resale tank, lie to you that it's normal but go fix your neighbors. Stop your protectionism. It is wrong and immature.

9th injector would do it, Sledgehammer. Scott said ford has trickled out some with a 9 th injector or testing but as of right now the 17 don't except ones he has seen put out for testing.
This will be a good fix if executed properly but will make the existing 6.7s resale tank even harder.
If considering something else, keep an eye on that as the new drop will occur very fast.
Radium. Feel free to give me a private message anytime you like. This behavior actually created a whole other group that communicate off the forum, so you don't have to read such things and try to get to a satisfactory resolution to the problem.
Stay firm and importantly positive.
Nick

Not unique at all. Some don't even need to get into regen to do this now and downshifting does nothing.

Once again your posting your personal opinion I don't want to hear do you have a truck with this issue that's what I'm looking for and as far as a limited number of people you better do a search there's actually a class action lawsuit being started by a group. I'm not going to go buy a GM or Dodge I'll just trade for a gas unfortunately ford no longer offers the v10 in the f350s can't understand why
PS as far as your opinion about immature I don't need your ford blazing horn crap when I'm trying to get to the bottom of a very serious issue I do know two people with the same issue and the one gentleman did have his truck fixed to no avail I'm trying to contact them right now to get on board and let you know his situation you can tell him he's wrong too lol
