Armrest removal

Armrest removal
So, I was looking at rotating the armrests on the captains chairs to get better life out of the leather, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how they come off.
Can anyone enlighten me?

I was looking at that, but I was afraid of damaging the foam. I will give it a try.

I did mine like that too! Got nice new, un cracked armrests that should last me a good while.

They are just some cheap pedal covers from the auto parts store. I got them, because I did not like the small stock pedals.

I just did this 10 minutes ago.....what a difference. My EB interior is in really nice shape but the Dr armrest was cracked out at the elbow rest area....drive me nuts for the last 26k.
Took 5 minutes, waaaay better.

So glad I saw this thread! I've been searching eBay for cloth armrests for a while (leather swap still n my short list). While driving home (not recommnded), on a long straight stretch of hwy, pulled the covers off. Simple as can be.
Pulled in the driveway, slid them back on..l. Good as new! My foam is a little worn, but a 100% improvement, and 2 minutes of time spent.
