Part number confusion
Hello all, new to the forum and F250s. Quick question about part numbers. I am trying to order the upper oxygen sensors from Tasca. The part number in there online catalog is 5L8Z-9F472-BA and the number that comes up when they run my vin number is 5L8Z-9F472-AA. Is there a difference between the AA and BA? They want to know which one to ship but I am not sure which one to tell them. Everything I find online says BA at the end. Thanks

generally the last letters of a part number deal with revision level. Go to Ford parts and enter the BA part and see if it shows for your truck. You can enter the VIN on Ford Parts.

So after checking that website by vin it just shows 9f472. However I can search both part numbers and they both come up. So I'm gonna take a wild guess and say BA is the new part number because that one always pops up when I search everywhere else.

Checking on eBay....they do appear different....and have a different Motorcraft number.
There is the AA on their for 29.00 with free shipping

Yeah I checked on eBay too and on the ones I can enter my vehicle info its says it will not fit. So I will order the BA one and if it don't fit I will send it back and get the other one. I am waiting on my new y pipe and cats so I got some time.
