Ok gents im in a pickle. This morning i went out to start the truck for a quick plow session. The truck (2012 f350 6.7 lb cc 131,600 miles) started fine. Then while i was setting up the defrost i accidently hit the ac button. Well I then hit it again to turn off. At that point the engine stalled. Which has never happened to me before. I started it back up which took a bit longer to get it to fire. It now says "Reduced engine power" and runs kinda rough. I thought well im at the end of my fuel filters life so why not change it since i had one. Well the. The FF housing broke. After replacement FF housing and filter it will no longer start. I took the filter back off and checked to see if it was cross threaded or sucking air. I checked that twice. Still no start cranks fast and strong. Codes are
P2138 something to do with the gas pedal
P0193 fuel rail sensor A high
P06A6 voltage on circuit A is whacky (paraphrasing here)
P0532 ac pressure sensor low
I'm no expert but if it was me the first thing I would do it make sure FF housing, and drain are tight and cycle the key 6 times each time just turn the key to the on position (not start) and wait :30 sec each time. this is the remove air from fuel line procedure in the manual. see if that helps. I has work for me in the past with the Reduced Power message.
Checked both, no dice. It's at the dealership right now. They say that it's reading 31000 psi. But the sensors unplugged. I think something else is shorted out and it's causing that to show weird readings.
Just heard back from my neighbor whos the service manager. Turns out the fellow i had do the dpf delete. Well he didn't seal the old plugs very well. He duct taped them to seal them. Water got into one and caused a short on that harness. Which made the fuel pressure sensor read really high numbers causing a WTF condition! And my wallet to be $350 lighter!!!
unreal, did you have the egr deleted as well? How does the engine run compared to before the delete, and do you get better fuel mileage, and longer oil life with the delete? thanks.

No egr delete yet. The only things ive noticed different. Are about 1.5-2.5 mpg betrer. And a weird sound like a puma screaming with a high powered blender mixed sound when i let off the go pedal.
I know this is an old thread, but I'm having the same exact issue in my 2019. Didn't have any of the harness plugs covered and now getting 4 separate DTC codes.
What cost you the $350 to fix, was it a new harness? Thank you

I'd guess just the labor cost to have it in the shop and diagnosed. His truck had the DPF deleted and, whoever deleted it, left the sensors in a condition where they could get exposed to the weather. Water got into one of the sensors, caused a whacky reading and made the truck run poorly.
Thanks Pugga. Yes, I gathered that, just wondering what he had to do to remedy, i.e., replace the whole harness, just a sensor, blow it out and dry it (as some have suggested as a fix).
I have to bring mine into the dealership tomorrow, still under warranty, but mine is also deleted and tuned, so just trying to explore all options before having to have that conversation, lol!

Interesting. I wouldn’t think Ford would honor the warranty on a deleted truck.
You mentioned a short but what did that short cause them to replace? We established what the cause of the problem is but what did they do exactly to fix the issue? Replace harness?
