Both of these things happened in my F-150 luckaly not my ranger
Well I was comming home from work one day and I work at a small hardware and alot of people know I collect scrap (wich is trash to alot of people) and sell it. Well I went around a corner and hear thud and I looked out the back window and some one put 2 50 gallon hot water tanks in the back of my truck and since I dont have a tailgate one fell out luckly no one was around and some one got a free one. Well the next day when I went to scrap the one tank the one I think I lost was laying on the pile at the yard with a big flat spot in it. Also when I did have the tail gate on some on put about half a load of beer cans in the bed (theres a bar next to where I work) and since it was about 90 it stunk realy bad when I came out of work also that could have looked realy bad if I woud have got pulled over since Im only 17. LOL Also at school some kid with a honda kep throwin trash in the back of my and a buddys truck we solved that by parking on both sides of him so close he couldnt get out of the car needless to say it never happened again
I get lots of cans in mine when I take it to work in town... plus the usual bags of garbage. But the most unusual thing I ever found (that I did'nt put there, anyway) was a dozen dead piglets that somehow got there when the truck was parked at a WalMart parking lot in a town of about 10,000 people. They were in a cardboard box that was covered with one of those blue tarps. I called the cops when I found it back there. They said it sounded like some kids pulling a prank, and asked me if I wanted to file a report. I decided the chance of finding the punks were'nt too good, so I said no. The cops took the dead pigs, box and all, and put it in the trunk of their cruiser.
