My truck has been apart for quite some time and I am not one hundred percent sure on how to reinstall the fenders, grill, and hood. Does anyone have any pictures I can go off of?
I don't have a parts manual or a chassis manual. Any idea how to get ahold of one? I looked online awhile back for any manuals there might be but didn't have any luck.

Do I need to use fender welting?
Any advice is much appreciated.
If you take a pic of your puzzle parts as you go, someone here could guide you on how to put them together.
I used it. I was able to find the older type that had a paper type core with a textured bead surface. I didn't like the slick plastic type with the plastic bead core.
If you can get enough of the side glass out to have a pattern, take the glass to a glass shop and have a new one cut then get some of this: http://www.macsautoparts.com/early_v...ll-384384.html
Cut it as necessary around the glass so it will go in the metal frame then trim it off after you have the frame back on. Then put it back in the door.
Only a week or two ago there was discussion on changing the window glass. It really isn't hard. You can also buy them pre cut on ebay. If you take your metal frame to a good auto glass shop, they should be able to cut and bed the glass into the frames.

The easiest parts manual will be the 1928-1948 Passenger Car and 1928-1948 Truck Chassis Parts Manual first published in 1950. This is known as the "Green Book" within flathead Ford communities. This is still available as a new reprint. However, the older the book the better the images. It seems that this manual has been copied for 60 years and is getting a bit fuzzy. It is available as both print and PDF. Be cautious about the PDF, some vendors require proprietary software. If your computer crashes you can no longer view your manual. Google search here: https://www.google.com/search?client...s+Parts+Manual
The easiest body manual will be the 1944-1952 Passenger Car and Truck Body Parts Catalog. The same options and concerns are valid with this publication as with the above manual. Google search here: https://www.google.com/#q=1944-1952+...+Parts+Catalog

I'm having a terrible time trying to get the glass out. I read all the posts in the link above but still am having trouble.
I drive around with cracked, broken glass in my doors of a couple of trucks I own. Like you, I have a hard time with it. It may be one of the toughest things in truckdom for me. Once you get those handles off the cut wrists and skinned knuckles begin. I think I have done two ever and I've had a lot of trucks. Maybe treat yourself and take the door to an auto glass place or willing body shop. Then go home and have a hot toddy and do something easy, like re-bush your rear leaf springs.... I wish I could have solved your problem. I know the tricks in that thread should help if you do it yourself.

I finally got the glass out. Truck was those interior handles. So much crap on them that I couldn't find those pins. I really appreciate your advice and willingness to help!
Now the trick will be getting the new glass in and regulator re installed.
It's a great feeling of accomplishment when you get the first one done. The pins are a bit tricky but not that bad once you get the first one. They can be stubborn though.
