Throttle response acting funny

I have a 2001 F350 Super Duty 7.3 ,AT, 2wd,dually , I use it daily to pull a 3 car wedge trailer. The other day after unloading I was headed back to get my last load and the truck would go to ideal when I let off of the pedal ( at 65 mph ) and when I pushed the pedal it would take a few seconds to respond . It done this quite a few times even after I loaded my last load , after I unloaded that load had about hour ride home and it ran fine. It never cut off also I fueled up that morning thanks for any input ............ Shu

These have an electronic Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) mounted on the pedal, tells the computer how far you have your foot into it. They get dirty and have dead spots. Take a can of contact cleaner and blow it out. Work the pedal as you do it. All with the key off of course. Give it a couple minutes to dry out thoroughly. Might be all it takes to get back to normal.

If not I saw a Dorman aftermarket unit and attached a PDF about it below.

Thanks for the info I'll give this a try. I delivered 2 loads ( 300 miles ) today with no issues .

Take a look at the tin nut on the back of the IPR as well. I had mine fall off at some point and the only indication was occasional lack of throttle response/idle.
