I have a issue with my '59. When the lights are turned off, signal lights work normally. When I have them on, I lose my right rear signal. The other 3 work normally. Where do I start to chase this?
Almost certainly a ground issue.
Clean all the mounting points around the lamp assemblies, spread a thin coat of dielectric grease over em.
Not just the assembly that is giving the grief but all around,.....all 4 corners plus lic. plate light.
Bad grounds do all kindsa funky stuff.
Failing this....take apart each of the "bullett" type connectors where they come out of the steering column clean em up, grease em and put em back together.
But by the sounds of things the ground cleanup should get ya fixed up.
if you need a wiring diagram lemmee know and i can get one to you in the post
