Has anyone else had a problem like this? The turn signals on my '97 just all of a sudden stopped working. This happened about a year ago for one short drive but then they started working again so I didn't worry about it. Now its happening again.
No turn signals
Hazards do work
Fuse is good.

Maybe the flasher? The switch itself? Any thoughts?

Might be the flasher thingy in the dash fuse box (round one)

 

The flasher in the fuse panel as stated above if all bulbs are good.

 

Swap flashers with the emergency flasher. If that gets the directionals working (and the emergencies NOT working), then that confirms it's the flasher. If nothing changes, the switch is the next suspect.

Do the brake lights work?

 

it seems like the simplest solutions never work... but in this case it did! I switched the flashers and now the blinkers work and hazards don't. looks like i'll be getting a new flasher this weekend. Thanks guys!
