Lockout ***** for the heavy duty Dana 44 under highboys - think they could be 3D printed? I have limited access to a 3D printer. If I could get an STL file of the **** I might be able to get a couple printed off. Think it would work? It can print ABS plastic - would it be as strong as original?
I have ability to laser scan them at work...but...it would be next to impossible to get approval to do it. There are companies out there that scan and export almost any type of file requested. Keep in mind though, the tighter you want the tolerance(more defined letters) the more expensive it gets.
Well at least on my 76 highboy the ***** are aluminum, not plastic. Not to fear though, since sintered metal 3D printing is something that exists.
I doubt a STL file exists. Your best bet will be to find the **** you want and either reverse engineer if yourself in your solid modelling program of choice, or pay someone to do it. All you need is a basic set of precision measuring tools and you're on your way.

Actually, I just remembered that my truck has Warn hubs, so I don't know if the stockers were metal or plastic. My bad
