Wheel swap

I have a 1994 F-250 and was wondering if anybody has tried using a set of 18" steel wheels from a 2006 F-350. The 1994 is stud piloted and the 2006 are hub piloted. The measurements all are the same on the spacing. Just not sure if the hub piloted wheels will work on a stud piloted axle.

Thanks for any help

At first glance it would seem that you could use lug piloted wheels on a hub piloted axle, as long as you are using the correct lugnuts. However, your inside wheel would not have any support to keep it properly aligned on the hub.

Here's an article that explains why you can't mix them: http://www.bridgestonetrucktires.com...v5iss1/ra5.asp

the bolt circle is different so in short no they won't work. The 94 is 8x6.5 and the 06 is 8x170mm
