I don't know if this is allowed or not, but since they are a sponsor I thought what the hey.
I have purchased a lot of parts from them over the years, and I am on their e-mail list. They just sent me an e-mail with a link to their closeout deals for my truck. There must be a thousand items listed. Many of them name brand, ranging between 50-80% off list price, which is already cheaper than the brick and mortar parts houses.
Like I said, I'm not sure if this is cool or not to post, but I thought that FTE members who are in need of parts may benefit from this info.
I just ordered some parts for my dad's Tacoma from them. I used discount code 3763648533701281 for 5% off. Enter it where it says where did you hear about us?
I was a patron with Rock Auto before I became a member of FTE. Awesome service, pricing and fast delivery on most items. Proud to say I am a returning customer.
Please throw some business to a sponsor vendor when you can!

I forgot to thank you for the discount code, saved $1.88! Saved me the trouble finding a good one (code) on the web.
Anyway, that place is like crack to me. I had dinner with the folks and was telling my Dad about it, and he tells me he needs brakes for his Hyundai. I told him that I still have his rig in my garage with RockAuto and I will check to see what they have to offer. Well, brake pads front and rear, wiper blades front and rear, engine and cabin filters and a new serpentine belt for $47 shipped.
Must, not, buy, anything, else, tonight! I'm going cold turkey for the rest of the evening. Wish me luck.
I have used Rock Auto several times. One time they sent me the wrong thing but jetted the right one out ASAP. All good for me. In fact I just loaded a cart with ball joints today.
i went to their website but i don't see which f-series parts are on sale.
any way to find out ?
Here is the copy/paste from the e-mail they sent me. It's specific for my truck since that is the year/make/model I have saved in their system. I don't know if it will help you out or not, but the last paragraph should help you get set up for future e-mails:
We regularly add new wholesaler closeout parts to the RockAuto catalog. We will send an update email like this one, covering up to three of your vehicles, at most once every three months. To be notified immediately when a closeout part for your vehicle is added to our catalog, sign up for our RSS feed by clicking an icon in our catalog.
Enjoy the savings, and thanks for being a RockAuto customer!
I have bought thousands of dollars in parts from them, and have only ever had one issue. They sent only one of one part, when I needed 2.
They are very accommodating, they have better quality part options than most local stores, and even after shipping their pricing still comes out ahead.
If you're placing an order on those closeouts, you might as well grab some other stuff you probably need, like WINDOW BELTS. Best price around for them. Not as good as OEM, but certainly better than old, dry rotted OEM.
I had a set of very poor injector bodies I purchased from them for my Honda. I always double check the parts manufacturer now and will no longer purchase the cheapest thing from them simply because it's the cheapest.
I take that back, they were spark plug coils. The ones that sit on top of each spark plug in these new fancy dancy engines.
