so whats that ticking noise
My 390 ran fine in my last truck, but when I started it in my highboy it died twice. It has oil but when it tried to die after running two minutes, I reved it up now there is a ticking in my engine. Any thoughts

collapsed lifter? maybe...

it's hard to know without some tests or visual inspections. compression check, valve cover off, etc.
