Exclamation NEED SIMPLE ANSWER

hey guys i have a 2000 ford expedition xlt and i am going to purchase a flow master exhaust kit to help improve mpg.

my question is:

Would also adding a CAI improve my mpg since I'm compensating with a larger exhaust system even though I'm not changing headers?

any suggestions on the most efficient way to build an older expedition?

Welcome to fte.

Imo save your money on both. Exhaust if you need it. Cai forget it. You have a cai already don't you? Stock air boxes pull air from outside the engine compartment. That's all you need.
