1996 f150

I there a tool i can get to pull the wires off on the passenger side? what a pain to get to! I've been through a few vehicles in my 39 years, but it sure is hard to get my hammy mitts down in there!

They do make a tool, not sure what they call them I think their called spark plug boot puller.
When I get a hard one I just use a pliers to assist me in pulling it off. Word of caution don’t ever pull on the wire, just the boot.

Yeah, was going to do the plier thing, had a few plugs crack on me before with other vehicles while using them. May give it a shot, though. Why do they always put the emission tubes right in front of the plugs anyway? Think it's an emission tube of some kind, anyway.

I have one of those yellow boot pullers from Autozone. It was a waste of money. I also recommend using a pliers. I've ruined a boot before being a little impatient with it, so be careful. I don't have a clue why Ford decided to put that stupid smog pipe next to the passenger exhuast manifold. I'm sure the extra heat helps it a bunch
