Good luck. I asked that question when I first joined back in like '09. Everyone had suggestions, but no one ever came out and said "I used a set for a '68 Mustang and they worked great." In fact I never got any info to help me decide, so I just ended up using stock '82 1/2 ton 2wd manifolds and having my exhaust run though a short pair of glass packs and a set of echo tips.
I find it sad that if you wanted to use a small block Chevy motor that many companies make headers for that application, but no one lists headers for a 302 in a '61-63.
Might ask on the '53-'60 board. The frames are pretty close to ours, and someone there might have an answer,
Imagine some what different with the 65-66 4x2 Ford truck header application since frames basically same thru 79; however, and not familiar with the frame design with the 61-64 Ford trucks, curious if similar for a 4x4 application??
Installed 'Hooker Long Tubes' in the 65 years ago that recently developed a crack, now faced with the dilemma of whether to replace, or install the original exhaust manifold, just seems to me if the cam and lifter's are rated a 4K, with a 3.56 rear axle, and T18, not sure if there's that much of a difference?
