Well, thanks everyone, I had to recharge the batts, as I had left my trusty old charger on it, and I guess my trusty old charger can't be trusted anymore.....yep!! she passed silently in the night So.....I intend to get it cranking again tomorrow, and see if I can get some readings from my little scanner, but my money is on the IPR...........more to come.....same Bat time....Same Bat Channel !
Hmmm......not seeing an IPR valve where everyone say's it's supposed to be, I removed the gas bottle, the FICM, and the breather to turbo intake hose, I see no IPR valve anywhere! I have an "07" is it not there on an "07" ? tried to get a pic, but no luck, to tight of a spot, but there is no sensor, or valve that I can see.
Cool....Thanks, I will get in there this morning and get it out of there, I hope that is the problem. I have no way to read the values of the ICP or the IPR unfortunately. I don't think my scanner has them on it, but I'll check this miorning

This is a big mistake. All this effort to pull the IPR valve when your hpo pressure may be fine. $25. Even if you have to buy a 2 yr old Android phone or tablet, it'll be under $50. I do wish you luck.
I have an Android phone, what is the name of the ap, and how would I hook my phone to the truck's computer? But I already have everything out of the way, after all the whining I heard on these forums, I expected it to be a bitch of a job, it was actually easy, I was amazed at how easy it was, it didn't look that hard from the videos I watched before I did it, but after reading all the belly aching, I expected it to be a pain in the ***! Lol. It wasn't
If nothing else, get a cheap OBDII wireless reader and download forScan for free. The reader is around $20 on Amazon or perhaps an auto parts store has one.
At any rate as other guys will tell you, your throwing darts at a moving target without a way to read things in real time. Was the IPR screen dirty or broken, suspect in any way?
Torque pro is the $5 app. Buy a OBDII Bluetooth reader on Amazon for around $20. The real cheap ones have had issues. You'll be amazed at the data you can read. You will load the preloaded gauges and tweek two, and add two. I'm not kidding, after you get it going, you will realize it's the best $25 you've spent in 10 years.
Well, I took it out yesterday, not only was there a hole in the screen, and a bunch of debris, the plastic on the inside of the screen was broke, like whatever made the hole, pushed through the plastic. I had to order the screen kit on line, it should be here by next Tuesday hopefully. I cleaned the valve with some carb cleaner while holding the valve open, then blew compressed air through the little holes with the valve held open. Before I did that, you could actually see debris caught between the valve and where it seats in the bore!
Well, it looks squeaky clean now that I have cleaned it, and blown it out with compressed air?
You might just be back in there. I'd say get a new valve and be done with it. Also if you have a lo more t contaminants in the system, you might be doing that screen more than once. Just be prepared for it. I've heard of doing them 4-5 times because of contamination.
Well....got the new screen and "O" rings yesterday, I wadded up a bunch of paper towels and stuffed them under the hole where the IPR valve goes, then turned the engine over for about 10 seconds, two times, to flush out any more contaminants that may have been in there. I put the valve back in, with the new screen and "O" rings, and she fired right up! YAAAAAYYYYYY !!!!!!!! So.......now to find out where the noise in the rear end is coming from, I believe it is an axle bearing. Thanks for all the advice everyone, and Merry Christmas!
